Volume 2, Issue 2 (December 2021) of the Journal of Financial Economics and Banking brings together four studies. The issue models the regimes of Turkey's economic performance index with a Markov-switching approach, reviews the role of political institutions in economic performance, and examines the Covid-19 pandemic from a behavioural perspective, both through its impact on the Islamic stock index in Turkey and through insights from behavioural economics.
